Account Solutions Associate

This position will learn the various duties of working within the Service Delivery Group, but with a primary focus on the Account Solutions Department. Respond to customer requests to shop cars for compliance, bad order and Destroyed and Damaged Car Tracking (DDCT) incidents. Review repair estimates and communicate customer liability charges to the customer. Utilize customer specific contracts to determine if any customer liability items are actually owner’s responsibility. Monitor compliance requirements and work with customers to keep cars in compliance per AAR regulations. Provide accurate, consistent, and timely contracts to customers for the GATX commercial organization. Update and maintain mechanical records, review and track documentation required by regulatory agencies, process Inbound Validation (IVP) form data received from GATX Rail Service Centers, Mini-Mobile Units and contract shops.
