  1. Oversee and manage the daily security operations at Gap, ensuring the safety and security of all employees and customers.
  2. Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to prevent and respond to potential threats.
  3. Conduct regular security assessments to identify and address any vulnerabilities.
  4. Train and supervise security staff to ensure they are properly equipped and trained to handle any security situations.
  5. Monitor surveillance systems and respond to any alarms or incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe and secure environment, such as loss prevention, human resources, and store management.
  7. Keep updated on industry best practices and implement new security measures as needed.
  8. Investigate any security incidents and report findings to appropriate parties.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized records of security incidents, reports, and procedures.
  10. Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding security updates, policies, and procedures.
  11. Respond to any emergency situations and act as a leader in crisis management.
  12. Serve as a role model and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a professional and safe work environment.
  13. Handle any escalated customer or employee security concerns with professionalism and discretion.
  14. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to security staff.
  15. Collaborate with external security agencies and law enforcement as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Experience In Security: A Security Shift Supervisor At Gap Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Fashion Industry Setting. This Experience Should Include Managing Security Operations, Conducting Investigations, And Overseeing A Team Of Security Personnel.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage And Guide A Team. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Clear Direction And Instructions, And Resolve Conflicts Within The Team.

  • Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Security Protocols And Procedures, Including Emergency Response Plans, Access Control, And Loss Prevention Techniques. This Will Ensure The Safety And Security Of Employees, Customers, And Company Assets.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Security Shift Supervisor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Interacting With Employees, Customers, And External Stakeholders On A Daily Basis. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Relationships And Effectively Addressing Any Security Concerns.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Identify Potential Security Risks And Vulnerabilities. They Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Abilities To Effectively Address Any Security Incidents Or Breaches That May Occur.
