Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage the visual merchandising of the store, ensuring that all displays are visually appealing and in line with Gap's brand standards.
  2. Collaborate with the Store Manager and other team members to develop and implement merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
  3. Train and coach sales associates on proper merchandising techniques and standards.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and work with the Store Manager to ensure timely restocking and replenishment.
  5. Conduct regular store walks to assess visual presentation and make necessary adjustments.
  6. Maintain an organized and clean store environment, including back stock areas and fitting rooms.
  7. Communicate with the corporate merchandising team to provide feedback and suggestions for new product assortments.
  8. Assist with the implementation of promotional and seasonal displays.
  9. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
  10. Lead by example and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
  11. Act as a role model for the sales team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  12. Monitor and track sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing action plans as needed.
  13. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor strategies to make informed merchandising decisions.
  14. Complete administrative tasks, such as scheduling and payroll, accurately and in a timely manner.
  15. Participate in performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Supervisory Role, Preferably In The Merchandising Department.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Visual Merchandising Techniques And Ability To Implement Them Effectively.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills To Ensure Merchandise Is Displayed And Restocked In A Timely Manner.

  • Ability To Analyze Sales Data And Make Appropriate Merchandising Decisions To Drive Business Results.

  • Exceptional Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Work Collaboratively With Other Departments.
