As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the success of our store by overseeing daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and motivating and developing our team. - Oversee Daily Operations: The Retail Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring the store is clean and well-maintained.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: The Retail Supervisor will lead by example and provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring their shopping experience at Gap is positive and memorable.
- Motivate and Develop Team: The Retail Supervisor will be responsible for motivating and developing the store team, including providing training, coaching, and feedback to ensure they are delivering top-notch customer service and achieving sales goals.
- Lead by Example: The Retail Supervisor will serve as a role model for the team by demonstrating strong leadership skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Ensure Sales Goals are Met: The Retail Supervisor will work closely with the store manager to set and achieve sales goals, and will be responsible for driving sales through effective merchandising, upselling, and cross-selling techniques.
- Maintain Visual Standards: The Retail Supervisor will ensure that the store meets Gap’s visual merchandising standards, including window displays, product placement, and promotional signage.
- Handle Customer Concerns: The Retail Supervisor will be responsible for handling customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner, finding solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor Inventory: The Retail Supervisor will assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, including ordering and replenishing stock, conducting inventory counts, and identifying and addressing any stock discrepancies.
- Train and Onboard New Employees: The Retail Supervisor will assist in training and onboarding new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
- Ensure Compliance: The Retail Supervisor will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and federal laws and regulations.

Previous Retail Supervisory Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Strong Leadership Skills: A Retail Supervisor Should Have The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Sales Associates, Delegate Tasks Effectively, And Handle Any Conflicts That May Arise.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Representative Of The Gap Brand, The Retail Supervisor Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Ensure A Positive Shopping Experience For Customers.
Knowledge Of Retail Operations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management, Visual Merchandising, And Sales Techniques.
