Retail Stock Associate

1. Manage inventory levels and stock levels to ensure the store is always fully stocked and organized for customers.
2. Receive, unpack, and organize shipments of merchandise according to company guidelines.
3. Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
4. Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged, labeled, and displayed on the sales floor.
5. Monitor and report on stock levels to management, including identifying low stock items and reordering as needed.
6. Collaborate with sales associates and management to ensure merchandise is displayed according to company standards and customer needs.
7. Assist with visual merchandising, including creating appealing displays and maintaining cleanliness and organization on the sales floor.
8. Use company technology and systems to track and maintain accurate inventory records.
9. Follow safety and security procedures to protect company assets and prevent loss of inventory.
10. Provide excellent customer service by answering customer inquiries and assisting with merchandise location and availability.
11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the Gap brand and values.
12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance standards.
13. Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks and assist with store operations as needed.
14. Stay informed about current fashion trends and product knowledge to assist customers and make merchandise recommendations.
15. Continuously strive to improve and suggest new ideas for store organization and efficiency.
16. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including back-stock areas and stockroom.
17. Complete any additional tasks or projects assigned by management.
