1. Monitor and maintain store inventory levels by accurately restocking merchandise on the sales floor.
2. Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely placement on the sales floor.
3. Organize and maintain stockroom and backroom areas to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of merchandise.
4. Collaborate with sales associates and management to identify and prioritize merchandise needs for restocking.
5. Perform regular inventory checks to identify any discrepancies and work with management to resolve them.
6. Ensure that all merchandise is properly tagged and labeled for easy identification.
7. Assist with creating attractive and organized merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating merchandise and answering any questions related to inventory.
9. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling merchandise, including lifting and carrying heavy items.
10. Communicate any inventory or stocking issues to management in a timely manner.
11. Stay up-to-date on current and upcoming merchandise trends to assist customers and enhance the overall shopping experience.
12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the stockroom and sales floor.
13. Collaborate with team members to ensure all daily tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
14. Proactively identify and report any maintenance or safety issues within the store.
15. Represent the Gap brand by adhering to company policies and procedures and promoting a positive and professional image.
