  1. Design and develop denim products for Gap's Specialty Kids & Baby line.
  2. Stay updated on current fashion trends and apply them to designs.
  3. Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive and on-brand designs.
  4. Use creative and innovative techniques to bring unique and appealing designs to the market.
  5. Research and analyze market trends and customer preferences to inform design decisions.
  6. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, and marketing, to bring designs to life.
  7. Ensure designs meet quality and safety standards.
  8. Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and provide timely updates on design progress.

Job Qualifications
  • Expertise In Denim Design: The Candidate Should Possess Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Designing Denim Clothing, Specifically For Kids And Baby Wear.

  • Creative And Innovative Mindset: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Creative Vision And Be Able To Come Up With Fresh And Unique Designs That Align With The Gap Brand And Appeal To The Target Audience.

  • Understanding Of Gap's Brand Aesthetic: The Designer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Gap's Brand Aesthetic And Be Able To Translate It Into The Denim Designs For Kids And Baby Clothing.

  • Experience In Children's Fashion: Previous Experience In Designing For Children's Fashion Is A Must For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Latest Trends And Styles In Children's Clothing.

  • Strong Technical Skills: Along With Creativity, The Candidate Should Also Possess Strong Technical Skills Such As Pattern Making, Sewing, And Garment Construction To Bring Their Designs To Life. This Will Ensure That The Final Products Meet Gap's Quality Standards.
