Assistant Manager, Merchandising

We’re looking for an experienced and talented Assistant Manager of Merchandising to join the Gap team. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the strategy and direction of our merchandising efforts. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing merchandising plans that drive sales and profitability for our Gap stores, and for ensuring that our product assortment meets our customers’ needs.To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be experienced in all aspects of merchandising, including product assortment, pricing, promotions, inventory management, and store operations. You’ll need to be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: -Develop and execute merchandising plans to drive sales and profitability for Gap stores -Create product assortments that meet customers’ needs -Manage pricing, promotions, inventory, and store operations -Stay organized and keep up with the fast-paced environment -Communicate with internal and external stakeholders -Monitor and analyze sales and market trends -Identify opportunities for improvement and growth -Develop strategies to increase customer loyalty and market share -Train and mentor store staff on merchandising principles and practices
