We are looking for an energetic and creative Assistant Manager, Merchandising to join the team at Gap. This highly organized and detail-oriented role requires the ability to think strategically while managing the day-to-day operations of merchandising. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic merchandising plans to increase sales and profitability of the store.
- Analyze sales trends to identify areas of opportunity and develop innovative solutions.
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the store’s merchandising team.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Monitor inventory levels and order new merchandise when necessary.
- Train and mentor staff in order to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor store displays and ensure that merchandise is properly presented.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement changes to improve customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure all merchandising objectives are achieved.
