Job Description

The Gap is seeking an experienced, motivated Assistant Manager, Merchandising to join our team and help bring our iconic brand to life. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful management of merchandise and merchandise activities within the store. We are looking for a leader who can take initiative, think critically, and maintain a positive attitude.The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 3 years of retail experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. You should be highly organized and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights based on the analysis is key. You should also have a customer-centric approach and be passionate about the Gap brand.

Responsibilities: -Manage merchandise and merchandise activities within the store -Lead team and take initiative with regards to store operations -Analyze data and provide actionable insights -Maintain a positive attitude and be customer-centric -Ensure excellent communication skills, both written and verbal -Develop strategies to increase customer engagement and sales -Manage inventory and ensure all merchandise is in stock -Recruit, hire, and train new team members -Set goals and monitor progress of team members -Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
