Assistant Manager, Merchandising

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the merchandising operations of the store
2. Analyze customer needs and trends to ensure that all merchandise is presented in an attractive and profitable way
3. Manage the store’s inventory in a way that meets customer demands
4. Supervise and motivate retail sales team members to ensure quality customer service
5. Oversee the visual merchandising of the store, including the arrangement and display of merchandise
6. Monitor sales performance and devise strategies to improve profitability
7. Maintain accurate records of stock levels and pricing
8. Train and support retail staff in merchandising and operations
9. Build relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
10. Monitor competition and market trends to keep the store up to date with the latest industry developments
