- Assist the Store Manager in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers and employees.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving any issues or concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Help drive sales and achieve store goals by actively promoting and upselling Gap products.
- Train and mentor store associates on customer service best practices, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve store performance and increase profitability.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Monitor and maintain store appearance and merchandising standards to ensure a visually appealing and organized store.
- Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees to build a strong and knowledgeable store team.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and implement employee schedules and manage payroll budgets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
