- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential security risks and address any issues promptly.
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct investigations into any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Train and educate store employees on proper theft prevention techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with store management to identify and address any security concerns or vulnerabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and report any theft or loss to appropriate authorities.
- Stay updated on current industry trends and best practices in asset protection to continuously improve store security measures.
- Respond to emergencies and provide support during crisis situations, such as natural disasters or security breaches.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment for employees and customers by enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Communicate and collaborate with other store locations to share best practices and coordinate on security measures.
- Coordinate with external security agencies and law enforcement as needed.
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees on safety and security protocols.
- Act as a point of contact for store employees and management regarding security concerns or incidents.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to asset protection.
- Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and procedures to mitigate potential risks and losses.
Experience In Asset Protection: Candidates For An Asset Protection Coordinator Job At Gap Should Have Prior Experience In Asset Protection, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Includes Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Strategies, Investigations, And Risk Assessments.
