Gap is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as an Asset Protection Coordinator. You will be responsible for safeguarding the company's physical assets, maintaining a high level of security, and using proactive methods to prevent loss from shoplifting, employee theft, and other criminal activity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. We are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills and the ability to think on their feet. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or law enforcement, as well as a valid driver's license. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent shoplifting, employee theft, and other criminal activity.
- Monitor the store for suspicious activity and apprehend shoplifters.
- Monitor store safety and security systems, such as CCTV cameras, to identify security risks.
- Analyze security data and identify trends in asset protection.
- Investigate and document employee theft and other criminal activity.
- Maintain accurate records of all security incidents.
- Respond to emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Liaise with local law enforcement agencies to coordinate investigations.
- Provide training and support to store personnel on security procedures and protocols.
- Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures relating to asset protection.
