Job Description

Gap is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as an Asset Protection Coordinator. You will be responsible for safeguarding the company's physical assets, maintaining a high level of security, and using proactive methods to prevent loss from shoplifting, employee theft, and other criminal activity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. We are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills and the ability to think on their feet. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or law enforcement, as well as a valid driver's license. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to prevent shoplifting, employee theft, and other criminal activity.
  2. Monitor the store for suspicious activity and apprehend shoplifters.
  3. Monitor store safety and security systems, such as CCTV cameras, to identify security risks.
  4. Analyze security data and identify trends in asset protection.
  5. Investigate and document employee theft and other criminal activity.
  6. Maintain accurate records of all security incidents.
  7. Respond to emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
  8. Liaise with local law enforcement agencies to coordinate investigations.
  9. Provide training and support to store personnel on security procedures and protocols.
  10. Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures relating to asset protection.
