  1. Develop and implement asset protection strategies and procedures to safeguard company assets and minimize loss.
  2. Monitor and analyze store metrics related to theft, fraud, and other security risks, and take appropriate action to address any issues.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections of physical store locations to identify any vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Train and educate store teams on proper safety and security protocols, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure adherence.
  5. Investigate and document any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches, and work closely with law enforcement and legal teams as needed.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Operations, to develop and implement crisis management plans and emergency response protocols.
  7. Maintain a strong working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to asset protection, and ensure compliance at all times.
  8. Manage and oversee a team of asset protection associates, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors, such as security firms and technology providers, to enhance asset protection capabilities.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in asset protection, and make recommendations for continuous improvement within the company.
  11. Communicate regularly with senior management and provide updates on asset protection initiatives and performance.
  12. Foster a culture of safety and security within the organization, promoting awareness and encouraging all employees to take an active role in protecting company assets.
  13. Serve as a brand ambassador, representing Gap's commitment to safety, security, and ethical business practices to customers and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Asset Protection And Loss Prevention.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Environment.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team, Including Hiring, Training, And Performance Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Cross-Functional Partners And External Stakeholders.
