
Area Manager, Asset Protection

As an Area Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our stores and assets. - Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and reduce losses within the assigned area.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the training and development of store-level asset protection teams to ensure proper procedures and protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with store managers and other key stakeholders to address any security concerns and implement proactive measures.
- Lead investigations into any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches and take appropriate action to resolve and prevent future occurrences.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in asset protection to continuously improve and enhance the company's security measures.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address them.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to asset protection and safety.
- Serve as the main point of contact for law enforcement and other external partners in the event of a security incident.
- Conduct regular meetings with store managers and other team members to provide updates, guidance, and support related to asset protection.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all security incidents, investigations, and training activities.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure adequate coverage and support for all stores within the assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and security.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of asset protection within the assigned area.
- Act as a role model and mentor to promote a positive and professional work environment for the asset protection team.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws Related To Asset Protection, Including Theft, Fraud, And Workplace Safety.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Manage A Team Of Asset Protection Associates.
Proven Track Record Of Implementing Effective Strategies To Reduce Shrink And Protect Company Assets, While Maintaining A Positive Customer Experience.
