Patient Care Tech - Dialysis

We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Technician (Dialysis) to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care. In this key role, you will provide quality patient care and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure our patients receive the best care possible. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, and has excellent communication and customer service skills.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: a High School diploma or GED, a Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) certification, at least one year of dialysis experience, and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality patient care in accordance with Fresenius Medical Care standards.
2. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for patients.
3. Monitor patient vital signs and adjust dialysis treatments as needed.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
5. Prepare patient charts and other documentation for each treatment session.
6. Provide patient and family education regarding dialysis treatments and lifestyle modifications.
7. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
8. Assist with transportation of patients to and from treatments.
9. Monitor inventory of dialysis supplies and medications and alert manager when supplies are low.
10. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and other applicable regulations.
