Outpatient Registered Nurse

As an Outpatient Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice and a minimum of one year of experience in dialysis as an RN. You must also be knowledgeable of all Fresenius Medical Care policies and procedures, ESRD regulations and standards, and the ability to provide patient teaching and counseling. You must have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

1. Provide nursing care to patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD)
2. Ensure compliance with Fresenius Medical Care policies and procedures, ESRD regulations and standards
3. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
4. Monitor and assess patient health status, progress, and response to treatments and therapies
5. Document patient care in medical records
6. Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals and members of the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
7. Educate and counsel patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care
8. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
9. Respond to patient emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed
10. Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities to remain current with best practices and licensure requirements
