LVN - Peritoneal Dialysis

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join the Peritoneal Dialysis team at Fresenius Medical Care. As an LVN with Fresenius Medical Care, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care to those living with kidney failure and other chronic conditions. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced and caring healthcare professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering compassionate care.The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: a valid LVN license in the state of practice, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a working knowledge of peritoneal dialysis. Experience providing dialysis care is preferred. Responsibilites:

1. Provide quality care to patients living with kidney failure and other chronic conditions
2. Monitor and administer medications and treatments as needed
3. Document patient progress and care plans
4. Maintain patient confidentiality
5. Communicate effectively with patients and families
6. Maintain clean and organized work areas
7. Provide patient education about their conditions and treatments
8. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met
9. Monitor patient vital signs
10. Administer dialysis treatments
11. Keep up to date with current medical practices and protocols
12. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
