Home Therapies Dialysis Registered Nurse

We are looking for an energetic and committed Home Therapies Dialysis Registered Nurse to join the team at Fresenius Medical Care. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease through in-home dialysis treatments. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong knowledge base in dialysis, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing quality patient care.To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid nursing license, a minimum of two years of nursing experience, and experience in home dialysis treatments. You must also be comfortable using electronic medical records and have the ability to demonstrate a commitment to professional and ethical standards of practice. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential. Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease through in-home dialysis treatments.
2. Utilize electronic medical records to track and document patient progress.
3. Demonstrate a commitment to professional and ethical standards of practice.
4. Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure patient needs are met.
5. Maintain valid nursing licensure and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding home dialysis treatments.
7. Monitor patient’s vitals during dialysis treatments and adjust settings as needed.
8. Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and document all treatments.
9. Assist with the development of patient care plans and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
10. Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay up to date on the latest dialysis treatments and technologies.
