Responsibilities of an Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse:

-Assess patient needs and develop and implement appropriate care plans

-Monitor patient conditions throughout treatment and document all relevant information

-Provide comprehensive and accurate assessments, interventions, and evaluations of dialysis treatments

-Administer medications and administer treatments as prescribed

-Educate patients and families on dialysis treatments and their importance

-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

-Maintain current knowledge on dialysis treatments and techniques

-Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations

-Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information

-Provide emotional support to patients and families
