Tableau / MicroStrategy Administrator

- Administer and maintain the Tableau and MicroStrategy platforms, including user access, security, and system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise with the Tableau and MicroStrategy platforms, working closely with IT and other stakeholders to find solutions.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for Tableau and MicroStrategy users.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their data analytics needs and translate them into effective Tableau and MicroStrategy solutions.
- Design and implement data governance processes and standards to ensure data accuracy and integrity within the platforms.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Tableau and MicroStrategy technology, making recommendations for potential upgrades or enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Tableau and MicroStrategy with other systems and tools used within the organization.
- Provide regular reporting and analytics on Tableau and MicroStrategy usage and performance to key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
- Participate in testing and validation of new features and updates for the Tableau and MicroStrategy platforms.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Tableau and MicroStrategy, providing support and guidance to other team members and users.
In-Depth Knowledge And Experience With Tableau And Microstrategy Platforms, Including Data Modeling, Report Development, And Dashboard Design.
Proficient In Sql And Other Database Languages For Data Manipulation And Extraction.
Strong Understanding Of Data Governance Principles And Best Practices, With The Ability To Ensure Data Quality And Integrity Within The Tableau And Microstrategy Environments.
Experience In Administering And Maintaining Tableau And Microstrategy Servers, Including User Management, Security, And Performance Tuning.
Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Troubleshoot Issues Related To Data Connections, Server Performance, And User Access.
