Job Description

Freddie Mac is seeking a Senior Third Party Risk Assessor who will be responsible for assessing and managing risks related to third-party relationships. We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for risk management. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of risk management principles and processes and have experience in providing strategic and operational oversight of third-party relationships.To be successful in this role, the Senior Third Party Risk Assessor should have strong knowledge in the areas of risk management, internal controls, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills and demonstrate the ability to lead and collaborate with all levels of the organization. The Senior Third Party Risk Assessor must also possess the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and effectively communicate findings.The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management• Thorough understanding of risk management principles and processes• Proven ability to assess third-party relationships and identify risks• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and effectively communicate findings• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously• Demonstrated experience in leading and collaborating with all levels of the organizationIf you possess these qualifications and are excited to join a highly motivated team in an innovative and dynamic work environment, apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage risks related to third-party relationships • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures • Analyze data and identify trends related to third-party relationships • Provide strategic and operational oversight of third-party relationships • Create reports and other documents to communicate findings • Monitor and review third-party relationships to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures • Train and mentor other team members on risk management principles and processes • Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences • Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in risk management
