- Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to mitigate identified risks.
- Utilize advanced statistical and data analysis techniques to identify patterns and trends in risk data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for risk analysis.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Monitor key risk indicators and provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to risk management.
- Identify areas for improvement in current risk management processes and make recommendations for enhancement.
- Mentor and train junior team members on risk analytics techniques and best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate risk management into business intelligence processes and systems.
- Continuously analyze and assess the effectiveness of risk management strategies and make adjustments as needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert on risk analytics and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested by senior management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of risk management processes and procedures.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness and promote a proactive approach to risk management throughout the organization.
Extensive Experience In Risk Analytics: The Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Risk Analytics, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry. They Should Be Well-Versed In Various Risk Models And Methodologies, And Have A Strong Understanding Of Credit, Market, And Operational Risk.
Proficiency In Data Analysis And Business Intelligence Tools: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Command Over Data Analysis Tools Such As Sas, Sql, And Python. They Should Also Have Experience With Business Intelligence Tools Such As Tableau, Qlikview, Or Power Bi, And Be Able To Create Insightful Visualizations And Dashboards.
Knowledge Of Financial Markets And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Financial Markets And Products, As Well As Relevant Regulations Such As Basel Iii, Dodd-Frank, And Ccar. They Should Be Able To Apply This Knowledge In Their Risk Analysis And Reporting.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Critically And Creatively To Solve Complex Problems. They Should Be Able To Identify Patterns And Trends In Data, And Use Their Findings To Make Informed Decisions And Recommendations.
Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Risk Concepts To A Non-Technical Audience. They Should Also Have Experience In Managing Relationships With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
