Strong Understanding Of Application Security Principles And Best Practices: An It Generalist - Application Security At Freddie Mac Should Possess A Thorough Knowledge Of Application Security Frameworks, Standards, And Methodologies, Such As Owasp Top 10, Sans Top 25, And Nist Cybersecurity Framework. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In Secure Coding Practices And Have Experience With Various Security Testing Tools.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Technologies: A Qualified Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Software Development And Programming Languages, Such As Java, .Net, Python, Or Javascript. They Should Also Have Experience With Various Development Tools, Frameworks, And Platforms, Such As Spring, Angular, Or React.
Experience With Vulnerability Management And Risk Assessment: Application Security Is A Continuous Process, And A Strong Understanding Of Vulnerability Management And Risk Assessment Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Experience With Conducting Security Assessments, Identifying Vulnerabilities, And Implementing Remediation Strategies To Mitigate Risks.
