- Develop and implement information security strategies and procedures to protect Freddie Mac's systems and sensitive data.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in our systems.
- Provide guidance and support to the team on information security best practices and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in information security to continuously improve our security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of our operations.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, and provide timely and effective response and resolution.
- Perform security audits and assessments to identify gaps and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on information security risks and best practices.
- Work with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of shared data and systems.
- Responsible for incident response and management, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
- Prepare and present reports on information security risks, incidents, and mitigation strategies to senior management.
- Maintain awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure information security policies and procedures are aligned with regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Senior Information Security Role, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Security Frameworks Such As Nist, Iso, And Cobit.
Experience With Risk Management, Vulnerability Assessments, And Incident Response Procedures.
Professional Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Cisa Are Highly Preferred.
