  1. Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate risks for Freddie Mac's portfolio.
  2. Lead a team of quantitative analysts to develop and maintain risk models, stress testing scenarios, and risk measurement methodologies.
  3. Conduct thorough analysis of financial markets and provide insights and recommendations for risk management strategies.
  4. Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and alignment of risk management goals.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to risk management and incorporate them into Freddie Mac's risk management practices.
  6. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  7. Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management on risk management strategies and results.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as regulators and rating agencies.
  9. Continuously review and improve risk measurement methodologies and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  10. Work closely with other departments, such as finance and compliance, to identify potential risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to risk management.
  12. Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall risk management strategy for Freddie Mac.
  13. Identify and address any potential gaps or weaknesses in the risk management processes and systems.
  14. Proactively identify emerging risks and provide recommendations for addressing them.
  15. Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and other events to enhance knowledge and stay updated on best practices in risk management.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Statistics, Mathematics, Or A Related Field
