Cyber Security Insider Threat Analyst

- Monitor and analyze network and system logs to identify potential insider threats.
- Conduct investigations and forensic analysis to determine the scope and severity of insider threats.
- Develop and maintain threat detection strategies and procedures to proactively mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and measures to prevent insider threats.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber security threats and trends to continuously improve our insider threat detection capabilities.
- Evaluate and assess security tools and technologies to enhance our insider threat detection and response capabilities.
- Document and report on insider threat incidents, including root cause analysis and recommended remediation actions.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate employees on insider threat risks and prevention strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on insider threat detection and response, providing guidance and support to other team members.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Cyber Security Best Practices And Industry Standards, Including Threat Detection And Mitigation Strategies.
Experience With Insider Threat Detection And Prevention Tools, Such As Data Loss Prevention Systems, User Behavior Analytics, And Network Monitoring.
Proficiency In Conducting Threat Assessments And Investigations, Including Analyzing System Logs, Network Traffic, And User Activity.
Ability To Identify And Analyze Potential Insider Threat Indicators, Such As Unusual Access Patterns, Data Exfiltration Attempts, And Malicious Insider Activity.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams To Mitigate Insider Threats.
