  1. Develop and implement control testing strategies and plans to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  2. Lead a team of compliance professionals in conducting control testing across various business areas.
  3. Analyze and evaluate control testing results to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions to mitigate them.
  4. Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance control testing processes are in line with current standards.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance control testing is integrated into business processes and systems.
  6. Foster a culture of compliance within the organization by providing guidance and training to employees on compliance control testing procedures.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, to ensure open communication and collaboration.
  8. Prepare and present reports on compliance control testing activities, findings, and recommendations to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  9. Monitor and track corrective actions to ensure timely and effective implementation.
  10. Provide guidance and support to the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of control testing activities.
  11. Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of compliance control testing processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on compliance control testing, providing guidance and support to the organization as needed.
  13. Participate in industry forums and training to stay current on compliance control testing trends and best practices.
  14. Maintain documentation and records related to compliance control testing activities and ensure they are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  15. Adhere to ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity within the compliance control testing team.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: A Compliance Control Testing Manager At Freddie Mac Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Industry Standards Such As The Dodd-Frank Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, And Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (Cfpb) Regulations.

  • Experience In Compliance Control Testing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record In Designing, Conducting, And Managing Control Testing Programs To Assess The Effectiveness Of Compliance Controls Across Various Business Areas.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Compliance Control Testing Manager, The Individual Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Compliance Gaps, And Recommend Practical Solutions To Mitigate Risk And Improve Control Effectiveness.

Professional Certifications Such As Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (Crcm) Or Certified Internal Auditor (Cia) Are Highly Desirable.
