Oversee execution of daily NewsNOW coverage plans and logistics, in coordination with the Executive Producer. Work with NewsNOW management team to develop content designed to grow audience and build engagement, with user experience constantly in mind. Assist digital journalists and producers with developing segments, arranging interviews and securing content. Coordinate incoming and outgoing feeds and quickly communicate details to digital journalists for air. Plan and carry out coverage of major news events and special projects as needed. Monitor daily workflows to make sure standard operating procedures are followed and communication is clear. Ensure content meets quality and journalistic standards. Monitor analytics in real-time and call out opportunities when you see them. Maintain relationships with key players at FTS O&O stations and other internal and external partners. Assist with administrative duties as needed. Stay on top of breaking news, current events, journalistic practices and industry news.
