  1. Oversee the reliability, availability, and performance of all digital platforms and applications for Fox News.
  2. Lead a team of engineers to ensure all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall user experience and site performance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any technical issues that may impact site reliability.
  5. Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
  6. Create and maintain documentation for all site reliability processes and procedures.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve site reliability.
  8. Work closely with the security team to ensure the safety and integrity of the network and systems.
  9. Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
  10. Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical skills and ensure efficient workflow.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on site reliability status.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and efficient support.
  13. Develop and manage the site reliability engineering budget.
  14. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance the user experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience With Cloud Infrastructure: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding And Hands-On Experience Working With Various Cloud Platforms, Such As Aws, Google Cloud, Or Azure. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Highly Available And Scalable Systems Using These Technologies.

  • Proven Leadership Skills: As A Director, Site Reliability Engineering, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Engineers And Leading Them Towards Achieving The Organization's Goals. Therefore, They Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Delegate Tasks Efficiently, And Make Critical Decisions Under Pressure.

  • Strong Technical Background: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Software Development, Networking, And Infrastructure Operations. They Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages, Such As Python Or Java, And Have Experience With Automation Tools, Such As Chef Or Puppet. Additionally, They Should Have A Solid Understanding Of System Architecture, Including Load Balancing, Caching, And Database Management.

  • Experience With Devops Methodologies: The Candidate Should Have Experience Working In A Devops Environment And Be Familiar With Its Principles And Practices.
