- Oversee and manage all aspects of the housekeeping department, including but not limited to scheduling, training, and performance management of housekeeping staff.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are immaculate and in line with Four Seasons standards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain efficiency and productivity within the department.
- Work closely with other department heads to ensure seamless coordination and communication for guest needs and requests.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet the required standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Manage the inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring that all items are consistently available and within budget.
- Train and motivate housekeeping staff to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Monitor and manage the department budget, ensuring that expenses are kept within budget and identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management, and implement new strategies to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among all housekeeping staff.
- Uphold and enforce all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
- Prepare and submit reports on housekeeping operations and performance to senior management as needed.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for housekeeping staff and provide ongoing training and development to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Represent the Four Seasons brand with professionalism and excellence at all times.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Managerial Role In Housekeeping, Preferably In A Luxury Hotel Or Resort Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Large Team Of Housekeeping Staff.
Extensive Knowledge Of Housekeeping Operations, Including Budgeting, Ordering Supplies, And Implementing Efficient Cleaning Processes.
Exceptional Attention To Detail And A Focus On Maintaining High Standards Of Cleanliness And Presentation Throughout The Property.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Other Departments And Handle Guest Requests And Complaints In A Professional Manner.
