- Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations of the hotel, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Train, supervise, and support a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring that all items are in good working condition.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for housekeeping staff, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Prepare and manage housekeeping budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting financial targets.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and trends, and implement new strategies and techniques to improve guest satisfaction and efficiency of housekeeping operations.
Extensive Experience In Housekeeping: The Ideal Candidate For An Executive Housekeeper Role At Four Seasons Hotels And Resorts Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Similar Position, Preferably In A Luxury Hotel Setting. This Experience Should Include Managing A Large Team Of Housekeeping Staff And Overseeing The Daily Operations Of A Housekeeping Department.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Executive Housekeeper Is Responsible For Managing A Team Of Housekeeping Staff, So Strong Leadership Skills Are A Must. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Provide Clear Direction And Guidance, And Motivate And Inspire The Team To Deliver Exceptional Service.
Excellent Organizational Skills: Four Seasons Hotels And Resorts Prides Itself On Providing A High Level Of Service And Attention To Detail. The Executive Housekeeper Must Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Ensure That All Rooms And Public Areas Are Maintained To The Highest Standards. This Includes Creating And Implementing Cleaning Schedules, Managing Inventory And Supplies, And Overseeing The Maintenance Of Equipment.
Knowledge Of Housekeeping Standards And Practices: The Executive Housekeeper Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Housekeeping Standards And Practices, Including Proper Cleaning Techniques, Safety Protocols, And Sustainability Initiatives. This Knowledge Will Ensure That All Rooms And Public Areas Are Maintained In Accordance With Four Seasons' High Standards.
