
Executive Housekeeper

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and supervising a team of housekeeping staff.
- Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the housekeeping department to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and place orders when necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the standards set by the hotel.
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Train and coach housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and procedures, as well as customer service skills.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees by enforcing health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and manage the departmental budget, and monitor expenses to ensure they are within budget.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff, and take necessary disciplinary actions when needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the housekeeping department’s operations.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and trainings as required by the hotel management.
- Promote and maintain a positive work culture within the housekeeping department, and foster a team-oriented environment.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the hotel management.
Extensive Knowledge Of Housekeeping Operations, Including Cleaning Techniques, Inventory Management, And Budgeting.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Managerial Role In The Housekeeping Department Of A Luxury Hotel Or Resort.
Proven Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Large Team Of Housekeeping Staff.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Coordinate With Other Departments And Handle Guest Requests And Complaints.
Strong Attention To Detail And A Commitment To Maintaining High Standards Of Cleanliness And Presentation Throughout The Hotel.
