Job Description

If so, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to join our team of dedicated professionals. As the Executive Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall cleanliness and guest satisfaction of our luxury hotel. We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual who possesses excellent leadership skills and a strong work ethic.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and supervising a team of housekeeping staff.
  2. Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
  3. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the housekeeping department to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and place orders when necessary.
  5. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the standards set by the hotel.
  6. Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  8. Train and coach housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and procedures, as well as customer service skills.
  9. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees by enforcing health and safety regulations.
  10. Prepare and manage the departmental budget, and monitor expenses to ensure they are within budget.
  11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff, and take necessary disciplinary actions when needed.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the housekeeping department’s operations.
  13. Attend and actively participate in meetings and trainings as required by the hotel management.
  14. Promote and maintain a positive work culture within the housekeeping department, and foster a team-oriented environment.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the hotel management.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Housekeeping Operations, Including Cleaning Techniques, Inventory Management, And Budgeting.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Managerial Role In The Housekeeping Department Of A Luxury Hotel Or Resort.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Large Team Of Housekeeping Staff.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Coordinate With Other Departments And Handle Guest Requests And Complaints.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And A Commitment To Maintaining High Standards Of Cleanliness And Presentation Throughout The Hotel.
