
Event Coordinator

- Coordinate and execute all aspects of events at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts properties worldwide, including but not limited to weddings, corporate events, and social functions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event vision and provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process.
- Work closely with various departments within the hotel, including catering, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Create and maintain event timelines, budgets, and other necessary documentation.
- Source and negotiate with vendors to secure the best rates and services for each event.
- Handle all event logistics, including but not limited to venue set-up, transportation, audiovisual equipment, and guest accommodations.
- Ensure all events comply with hotel policies, safety regulations, and local laws.
- Manage event staff, including servers, bartenders, and other event personnel, to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance the guest experience and exceed their expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for incorporating new and innovative ideas into events.
- Communicate proactively and effectively with clients, vendors, and hotel staff to ensure all parties are informed and aligned throughout the event planning process.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all event-related information.
- Handle any issues or challenges that may arise during events in a calm and professional manner.
- Adhere to budget guidelines and provide timely and accurate reports on event expenses.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and generate interest and bookings.
- Uphold the Four Seasons brand standards and ensure all events align with the company's values.
- Train and mentor junior event coordinators as needed.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote the hotel and build relationships with potential clients and partners.
