  1. Act as a representative of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, embodying our commitment to exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
  2. Serve as a cultural expert and resource for the team, providing guidance and support on cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity and inclusivity within the hotel, including training programs and cultural events.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with guests from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that their cultural needs and preferences are met.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cultural considerations are taken into account in all aspects of the guest experience, from dining to accommodations.
  6. Stay updated on current cultural trends and events to ensure that the hotel remains relevant and inclusive.
  7. Conduct regular cultural sensitivity training for all staff members to promote a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  8. Handle any cultural conflicts or misunderstandings that may arise among guests or staff members.
  9. Act as a liaison between the hotel and local cultural organizations, fostering partnerships and collaborations.
  10. Monitor guest satisfaction and feedback related to cultural experiences, and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Assist in the recruitment and hiring process to ensure a diverse and inclusive team.
  12. Stay informed on cultural demographics and trends in the hospitality industry, and make recommendations to leadership on how to stay ahead of the curve.
  13. Act as an ambassador for the hotel, promoting our commitment to diversity and inclusivity in the community.
  14. Comply with all hotel policies and procedures, as well as local and federal laws related to diversity and inclusivity.

Job Qualifications
  • Fluency In Multiple Languages: A Cultural Liaison Officer At Four Seasons Hotels And Resorts Should Be Fluent In At Least Two Languages, Including The Local Language Of The Hotel's Location And A Major International Language Such As English, Spanish, Or Mandarin.

  • Extensive Cultural Knowledge And Sensitivity: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding And Appreciation For Different Cultures, As Well As The Ability To Navigate And Bridge Cultural Differences In A Professional Manner.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Liaison Between Hotel Guests And Staff From Diverse Backgrounds, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Facilitate Communication And Resolve Any Cultural Misunderstandings.

  • Previous Experience In A Similar Role: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working As A Cultural Liaison Officer Or In A Related Field Such As International Relations, Cross-Cultural Communication, Or Hospitality.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: This Role Requires The Ability To Adapt To Constantly Changing Situations And Adjust To Different Cultural Norms And Practices. Candidates Should Be Able To Think On Their Feet And Handle Unexpected Challenges With Ease.
