  1. Oversee merchandise operations: The Merchandise Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the merchandise department, including inventory management, product ordering, and pricing strategies.
  2. Develop merchandise strategy: Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement effective merchandise strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  3. Monitor and analyze sales: Utilize sales data to track and analyze merchandise performance, and make data-driven decisions to improve sales and profitability.
  4. Manage inventory levels: Ensure optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and making necessary adjustments to avoid overstock or stock shortages.
  5. Lead and train team: Hire, train, and develop a team of merchandise associates, providing guidance and support to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
  6. Stay current with industry trends: Keep abreast of current trends in the merchandise industry, and make recommendations for new products or product lines to maintain a competitive edge.
  7. Maintain visual merchandising standards: Ensure that all merchandise displays are visually appealing and effectively highlight products to drive sales.
  8. Collaborate with vendors: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing, and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  9. Ensure pricing accuracy: Regularly review and update pricing to ensure accuracy and competitiveness in the market.
  10. Uphold company standards: Ensure that all merchandise and displays are in compliance with company standards and policies, including safety and security measures.
  11. Manage budget: Develop and manage the merchandise department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources to maximize profitability.
  12. Communicate effectively: Keep the management team informed of merchandise performance, challenges, and opportunities, and collaborate with other departments to achieve overall company goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Sales Data And Make Strategic Decisions.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Retail Merchandising, Preferably In A Management Role.

  • Demonstrated Knowledge Of Current Fashion Trends And The Ability To Develop And Implement Merchandising Strategies To Drive Sales And Improve Customer Experience.
