  1. Monitor and maintain the security of the store premises and merchandise at all times.
  2. Conduct routine patrols and surveillance to identify any potential security threats.
  3. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to loss prevention and security.
  4. Assist in the development and implementation of loss prevention strategies.
  5. Collaborate with store management and team members to identify and address potential security risks.
  6. Respond to and investigate any reported incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches.
  7. Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support any necessary disciplinary or legal action.
  8. Utilize CCTV and other security equipment to monitor and document suspicious activities.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in loss prevention techniques.
  11. Train and educate employees on proper security procedures and protocols.
  12. Maintain accurate records and reports related to loss prevention and security incidents.
  13. Collaborate with external law enforcement agencies as needed.
  14. Assist in the development and maintenance of emergency response plans.
  15. Act as a role model for ethical and responsible behavior within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Loss Prevention Associate At Forman Mills Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Previous Experience In Loss Prevention: Prior Experience In Loss Prevention, Security, Or Law Enforcement Is Often Required For This Role. Knowledge Of Surveillance Systems And Security Procedures Is Also Preferred.

  • Strong Observation And Analytical Skills: A Loss Prevention Associate Must Possess Strong Observation Skills And Be Able To Analyze Situations Quickly And Accurately. This Includes Identifying Potential Theft Or Fraudulent Activities.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Requires Excellent Communication Skills As The Loss Prevention Associate Will Be Working Closely With Store Employees And Management. They Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate Any Suspicious Activities Or Incidents.

  • Physical Fitness And Ability To Handle Confrontational Situations: This Job May Require Standing For Long Periods Of Time And The Ability To Chase And Detain Potential Suspects. The Candidate Should Possess Physical Fitness And The Ability To Handle Confrontational Situations Calmly And Professionally.
