We are currently seeking a Front End Manager to join our team and help us continue to create exceptional shopping experiences for our valued customers. As the Front End Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our checkout process and customer service at the front end of our store.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the front end of the store, including the checkout process and customer service.
  2. Train, mentor, and supervise a team of front end associates to ensure excellent customer service and efficient checkout procedures.
  3. Monitor and maintain the accuracy of cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and overseeing cashiers' transactions.
  4. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Ensure that the front end area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
  6. Implement and enforce store policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  7. Continuously evaluate and improve the front end processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  8. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  9. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes.
  10. Handle employee scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  12. Conduct regular meetings with front end staff to communicate updates, provide training, and address any concerns or issues.
  13. Promote a positive and professional work environment that encourages teamwork, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  14. Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by upper management.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Front End Operations: A Qualified Candidate For The Front End Manager Position At Forman Mills Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Front End Operations, Including Cash Handling, Customer Service, And Managing A Team Of Cashiers.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Front End Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Supervising A Team Of Cashiers And Ensuring Efficient And Effective Operations. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Motivate Employees, And Resolve Conflicts, Are Essential.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: In This Role, The Front End Manager Will Be Required To Communicate With Both Customers And Employees. Effective Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Listen, Provide Clear Instructions, And Address Concerns, Are Crucial For This Position.

  • Proficient In Point-Of-Sale (Pos) Systems: Forman Mills Uses A Pos System For All Transactions, So A Qualified Candidate Should Have Experience And Proficiency In Using Pos Systems. This Includes Managing Transactions, Troubleshooting Technical Issues, And Training New Employees On The System.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: The Front End Manager Will Be Responsible For Managing Cashiers, Handling Money, And Ensuring The Accuracy Of All Transactions. Therefore, Attention To Detail And Accuracy Are Critical Qualifications For This Position To Prevent Errors And Discrepancies In The Front End Operations.
