As the Front End Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective operations at our checkout counters.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the front end department, including cashiers, baggers, and customer service representatives.
  2. Train, coach, and develop front end staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient checkout processes.
  3. Monitor and maintain the accuracy of cash registers and manage cash handling procedures.
  4. Create and implement strategies to improve the overall customer experience at the front end, from greeting customers to resolving any issues that may arise.
  5. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
  6. Maintain accurate records of sales, transactions, and inventory levels.
  7. Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as all legal and safety regulations.
  9. Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the front end department's performance.
  11. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and create a welcoming and pleasant shopping environment.
  12. Collaborate with the human resources department to recruit, hire, and onboard new front end employees.
  13. Monitor and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.
  14. Monitor and manage front end budget, including labor and supplies expenses.
  15. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to front end staff to promote growth and development.
