As the Back End Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our back-end department to ensure efficiency and accuracy.   1. Oversee daily operations of the back-end department, including receiving, processing, and organizing merchandise shipments.
  2. Ensure efficient and accurate handling of merchandise, from receiving to inventory storage and distribution.
  3. Manage and train a team of back-end associates, providing guidance and support to ensure high productivity and performance.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock for the sales floor and timely restocking of merchandise.
  5. Collaborate with other department supervisors to coordinate and streamline back-end operations with overall store operations.
  6. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  7. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  8. Communicate effectively with store management to address any issues or concerns and provide solutions.
  9. Motivate and inspire team members to meet and exceed performance goals and objectives.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in retail operations to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  11. Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to back-end operations in a professional and timely manner.
  12. Assist in training and onboarding new back-end team members.
  13. Oversee department budget and expenses, making cost-effective decisions to ensure profitability.
  14. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to protect merchandise, employees, and customers.
  15. Participate in store meetings and contribute to the overall success of the store by collaborating with other team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Back End Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Managing Back End Operations In A Retail Or Warehouse Environment. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Receiving And Shipping Processes, And Supply Chain Management.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Back End Supervisor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Back End Staff. Therefore, They Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Support, And Resolve Conflicts Within The Team.

  • Attention To Detail: The Back End Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Accuracy And Efficiency Of Back End Processes. They Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Inventory Is Properly Received, Stored, And Shipped Without Errors.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: Back End Operations Involve Handling Heavy Equipment, Such As Forklifts And Pallet Jacks, And Working With Potentially Hazardous Materials. The Candidate Should Have Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Be Able To Enforce Them To Maintain A Safe Working Environment For The Team.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills: The Back End Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Tasks And Deadlines Simultaneously. They Should Possess Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills To Ensure That All Back End Operations Run Smoothly And Efficiently.
