  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and analyze system requirements for new and existing vehicle systems.
  2. Design and develop system architectures and interfaces for vehicle systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and cost targets.
  3. Conduct system-level integration and testing, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  4. Utilize engineering tools and techniques to model, simulate, and validate system performance.
  5. Develop and maintain system documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and test plans.
  6. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input and recommendations.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and trends, and incorporate new technologies into system designs.
  8. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure system components meet Ford's quality and performance standards.
  9. Support the production launch of new systems, providing technical assistance and troubleshooting as needed.
  10. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of system designs.
  11. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, identifying and implementing process enhancements.
  12. Mentor and train junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the design and development of vehicle systems.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management regarding project status, issues, and recommendations.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, promoting a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering: A Degree In A Related Field, Such As Mechanical Or Electrical Engineering, Is Typically Required For A Systems Engineering Role At Ford Motor. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Technical Knowledge And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Experience With Automotive Systems: Ford Motor Is A Leading Automotive Company, So Experience Working With Automotive Systems And Components Is Highly Desirable. This Includes Knowledge Of Vehicle Dynamics, Powertrain Systems, And Electrical Systems.

  • Systems Engineering Experience: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Systems Engineering, Particularly In The Automotive Industry.
