  1. Develop and implement software testing strategies and plans to ensure the quality and reliability of software systems for Ford vehicles.
  2. Conduct thorough and comprehensive testing of software systems, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
  3. Identify and report any issues or defects found during testing, and work with the development team to resolve them.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and other engineers, to ensure software meets design specifications and requirements.
  5. Utilize industry-standard testing tools and techniques to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of software testing processes.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  7. Work closely with the design team to understand product features and functionality, and provide feedback on potential areas for improvement.
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers on potential issues or improvements.
  9. Communicate testing progress and results to project stakeholders, including management and other team members.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of software systems, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  11. Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure their software meets Ford's standards and requirements.
  12. Adhere to Ford's safety and security protocols for software systems.
  13. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on testing progress and any potential roadblocks.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all testing processes and results.
  15. Uphold Ford's values and represent the company in a professional and ethical manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Software Development And Validation.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standard Software Validation Processes And Tools.

  • Experience With Automotive Software Development And Validation, Specifically In The Automotive Embedded Systems Domain.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
