- Maintain and repair tools and templates used in the production process.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with tools and templates to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Collaborate with production team to determine tool and template needs and make necessary modifications or improvements.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Keep accurate records of tool and template maintenance and repairs.
- Continuously monitor and improve tool and template performance to increase efficiency and quality.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding tool and template needs and updates.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in tool and template technology.
- Train and mentor new team members on proper tool and template maintenance and usage.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Extensive Experience In Machining And Toolmaking: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Machining And Toolmaking, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Manufacturing Setting. This Includes Proficiency In Operating Various Types Of Machinery And Tools, As Well As The Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Specifications.
Knowledge Of Automotive Assembly Processes: As A Toolmaker And Template Maker At Ford Motor, The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Automotive Assembly Processes. This Includes Knowledge Of Production Equipment, Tooling, And Fixtures Used In The Assembly Of Vehicles.
Attention To Detail And Precision: A Skilled Trade Job At Ford Motor Requires A High Level Of Precision And Attention To Detail.
