  1. Lead and supervise the production team responsible for manufacturing chassis components for Ford vehicles.
  2. Ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting all quality and safety standards.
  3. Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet production targets and deadlines.
  4. Train and develop production staff, providing guidance and support to improve their skills and performance.
  5. Collaborate with other departmental managers to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
  6. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, enforcing safety protocols and addressing any safety concerns.
  9. Work closely with engineering and design teams to implement new production processes and improve existing ones.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to ensure production goals are met and any issues are addressed promptly.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive chassis systems to continuously improve production processes.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and motivating employees to achieve their full potential.
  13. Prepare and present production reports to upper management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, quality, and ethical standards.
  15. Continuously strive to improve production efficiency and effectiveness, seeking out new techniques and technologies to enhance production processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Automotive Manufacturing: A Production Supervisor For The Chassis Department At Ford Motor Must Have Prior Experience In Automotive Manufacturing, Preferably With A Focus On Chassis Production. This Experience Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge Of Production Processes, Quality Control, And Safety Regulations Specific To The Automotive Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Production Supervisor, One Must Be Able To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Production Workers. This Requires Strong Leadership Skills, Such As The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members, Delegate Tasks Effectively, And Resolve Conflicts In A Professional Manner.

  • Knowledge Of Chassis Production Processes: A Production Supervisor For Chassis Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Production Processes For Chassis Components, Including Welding, Stamping, And Assembly. This Knowledge Will Allow Them To Identify And Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise During Production.

  • Attention To Detail: The Chassis Is An Integral Part Of A Vehicle, And Any Defects Or Errors In The Production Process Can Have Significant Consequences. Therefore, A Production Supervisor Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Components Are Produced Accurately And Meet Quality Standards.

  • Safety And Quality Control: Safety And Quality Are Of The Utmost Importance In The Automotive Industry. A Production Supervisor For Chassis Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Quality Control Processes To Ensure That Production Runs Smoothly And All Components Meet Ford's Standards. This May Include Implementing And Monitoring Safety Protocols, Conducting Quality Audits, And Continuously Seeking Ways To Improve Production Processes.
