As the Privacy and Consent Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing privacy policies and strategies to safeguard our customers' data.   1. Develop and implement privacy policies and strategies in line with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Stay current with privacy laws and regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for updates to policies and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy and consent requirements into product development processes.
  4. Conduct privacy impact assessments and communicate findings and recommendations.
  5. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all policies and procedures are in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Communicate privacy policies and procedures to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  7. Develop and deliver training programs on privacy and consent for employees.
  8. Monitor and analyze data privacy incidents and develop action plans to prevent future occurrences.
  9. Act as a liaison with external regulatory bodies on privacy and consent matters.
  10. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop messaging and campaigns that promote privacy and consent awareness to customers.
  11. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential privacy risks and make recommendations for mitigation.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve privacy practices and procedures to ensure the protection of customer data.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on privacy and consent matters, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
  14. Keep informed of industry trends and best practices in privacy and consent management.
  15. Champion a customer-centric approach to privacy and consent, ensuring a positive experience for customers when it comes to data protection.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Privacy Laws And Regulations: The Privacy And Consent Product Manager At Ford Motor Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Global Privacy Laws And Regulations, Including Gdpr, Ccpa, And Other Emerging Regulations. This Knowledge Is Essential For Developing And Implementing Privacy Policies And Procedures For The Company.

  • Experience In Product Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Product Management, Preferably In The Automotive Industry. They Should Be Able To Oversee The Development, Launch, And Maintenance Of Privacy And Consent-Related Products And Features, Ensuring They Meet Both Customer Needs And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Privacy And Consent Product Manager, The Candidate Will Be Required To Work Closely With Various Teams, Including Legal, Engineering, And Marketing. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are A Must To Effectively Manage Cross-Functional Projects And Communicate Privacy-Related Updates To Stakeholders.

  • Understanding Of Data Privacy And Security: The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Data Privacy And Security Principles, Including Data Classification, Data Retention, And Data Breach Response. This Knowledge Will Help Them Ensure That Ford Motor's Products And Services Comply With Industry Standards And Best Practices.

  • Proven Track Record Of Project Management: The Privacy And Consent Product Manager Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, From Conception To Launch. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Delivering Complex Projects On Time And Within Budget.
