Plant HR Generalist

1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with company guidelines and state/federal laws.
2. Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees and managers on HR-related matters.
3. Oversee recruitment and selection processes for the plant, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
4. Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, addressing complaints, and resolving conflicts.
5. Ensure compliance with all HR-related laws and regulations, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and labor laws.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR data.
7. Administer employee benefits and compensation programs, including open enrollment and annual salary reviews.
8. Collaborate with plant leadership to identify training and development needs and facilitate employee training programs.
9. Participate in strategic planning and goal-setting for the plant, providing HR insights and recommendations.
10. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
11. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR, and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed.
12. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture through employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
13. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
14. Represent the company at job fairs and other recruiting events.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager or plant leadership.
