  1. Conducting health and safety assessments to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
  2. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  3. Collaborating with other departments, such as Human Resources and Facilities, to address health and safety concerns.
  4. Providing education and training to employees on health and safety practices, including proper ergonomic techniques and injury prevention.
  5. Responding to and managing workplace injuries and illnesses, including providing first aid and coordinating with medical professionals.
  6. Conducting health screenings and assessments for new hires and ongoing monitoring for existing employees.
  7. Maintaining accurate and confidential employee health records.
  8. Collaborating with management to develop return-to-work plans for employees on leave due to injury or illness.
  9. Promoting a culture of health and safety by organizing and participating in wellness initiatives and events.
  10. Staying informed about current trends and best practices in occupational health and making recommendations for improvement.
  11. Developing emergency response plans and procedures and conducting drills to ensure readiness.
  12. Conducting investigations into workplace incidents and providing recommendations for prevention.
  13. Developing and managing budget for occupational health programs and initiatives.
  14. Building relationships with external health and safety organizations and staying up-to-date on industry developments.
  15. Adhering to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to occupational health and safety.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Occupational Health Or A Related Field.

  • Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where The Ford Motor Facility Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Occupational Health Nursing, Preferably In A Manufacturing Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Osha Regulations And Standards, As Well As Experience In Conducting Workplace Health Assessments And Implementing Health And Safety Programs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Employees, Management, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
