  1. Design and implement Linux-based systems for various departments and functions within the company.
  2. Maintain and troubleshoot existing Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
  4. Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement, proactively making recommendations and implementing solutions.
  5. Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration, installation, and troubleshooting procedures.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in Linux technology, and apply this knowledge to enhance our systems.
  7. Work closely with vendors and external partners to ensure seamless integration of Linux systems with other technologies.
  8. Respond to and resolve system alerts and outages in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members on Linux system administration best practices and procedures.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to streamline system management and maintenance.
  11. Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain system security protocols and procedures.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical system issues.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates on system status and project progress.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards, in all aspects of system design, implementation, and maintenance.
  15. Take ownership and accountability for the performance and reliability of Linux systems, ensuring they meet the company's high standards of quality and innovation.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Linux Operating Systems And Related Technologies, Including Experience With Red Hat Enterprise Linux And Centos.

  • Extensive Experience With Server Virtualization And Cloud Computing Platforms, Such As Vmware And Amazon Web Services.

  • Proficiency In Scripting Languages, Such As Bash And Python, For Automation And System Administration Tasks.

  • Experience With Configuration Management Tools, Such As Ansible And Puppet, For Managing Large-Scale Server Environments.

  • Knowledge Of Networking Principles And Protocols, Including Tcp/Ip, Dns, And Dhcp, For Troubleshooting And Maintaining Network Connectivity.
