Job Description

Ford Motor is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Platform Engineer to join our team as a Customer IAM (Identity and Access Management) specialist. As a key member of our Customer IAM team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the infrastructure, systems, and processes that ensure secure and seamless access for our customers to our digital platforms and services. We are looking for a passionate and experienced engineer with a strong background in customer IAM and a deep understanding of cloud-based technologies.   1. Develop and maintain the infrastructure, systems, and processes for secure and seamless customer access to digital platforms and services.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement customer IAM solutions that meet business needs and security requirements.
  3. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to customer IAM and provide timely resolutions.
  4. Stay informed about the latest developments in cloud-based technologies and incorporate them into the customer IAM strategy.
  5. Monitor and analyze customer IAM metrics to ensure optimal performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  6. Implement and maintain security protocols and standards to protect customer data and information.
  7. Act as a subject matter expert for customer IAM, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  8. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and proactively address them.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation for customer IAM processes and procedures.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the customer IAM system.
  11. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to integrate their solutions into the customer IAM system.
  12. Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  13. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer IAM and make recommendations for their implementation.
  14. Participate in meetings and presentations to provide updates on customer IAM projects and initiatives.
  15. Adhere to Ford Motor's policies and procedures, including those related to information security and data privacy.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • 5+ Years Of Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Customer Identity And Access Management (Ciam) Solutions.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Industry-Standard Ciam Protocols Such As Oauth, Saml, Openid Connect, And Scim.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And Javascript.

  • Strong Understanding Of Cloud Technologies And Experience With Cloud-Based Ciam Platforms Like Okta, Auth0, Or Ping Identity.
